We can say that really the radio club was made in January of the 2002; if spoken of its official presentation.
But really its origin is back in 1999, when Alexandre (HC1AJQ) and Sergey (HC1ACW) started to go together to the
DX-expeditions in a different provinces of Ecuador; around the seaside of a Pacific Ocean, getting down to the
jungles, going up to the Andes, where the most interesting work was from the volcanoes at a high of 3800-4500
meters.
Then Andy (NP3D), which is a complete fan of competitions and IOTA, started to came to Ecuador. And it was after
his appearance that was born the idea of building the DX-holiday hotel in the coast, at the HC4 zone. Which
construction was already started at the 2002.
